Of late, with casinos, racecourses and other gambling dens thriving, the volcanic rush for money is being manifest even more. Casinos are dens where money generates a spark. People take back home a windfall if lady luck decides to smile on them. Pokers, backgammon, roulette and a lot more are the tune of every season.

Similarly, racecourses are where an astute punter decides to make a financial mountain out of a molehill. Yes, there have been enormous stories in circulation about how a bettor can fall in no time, but all this notwithstanding; clever punters can always make hay while the sun shines on racing turfs. Money can be earned fast but then the cobweb of fast lucre can also be deceitful and illusory, taking away peace and harmony. It is for a gambler to know where to stop.

Then there is another means of speculation called share trading; but its stable speed deters many risk-mongers.
