Bounty tournament is a kind of online poker tournament and it is different from other kinds of poker games because a part of buy-in of every player becomes bounty on his head. If you want to be the winner at a bounty poker tournament, then the first thing you should do is to isolate the player who has a strong hand. The other thing is to try seeing the flop against small stacks with mediocre hands. Being patient and doubling up from short stacks is one of the best things you can do while playing a bounty poker tournament. This means that you should push earlier with approximately 15 big blinds and push with the premium hands only like big slick, pocket kinds and pocket aces.

Last but not the least, never get carried away by the bounties. Although these can be a great way for winning money, you should not take your eyes of your main goal which is to run deep into the tournament.
