Roulette

If you ask me about the history of roulette, you will get a great history. Go to any other casino tomorrow and ask how roulette came into being. He will narrate another story. As many as there are fans of the game, as many are the fables associated with the game. But whatever the case be, it is a universal truth that roulette is one of the oldest games in the world. There are no records as to who came up with the idea or who framed the original rules. Nevertheless, the game is the most favorite in the casino players’ circle.

The heartbeats skip as soon as the wheel begins to spin and continuously your blood pressure rises as it slows down to stop at a particular symbol. If you won, you are running all around the casino or else, you get ready for the next game.

Few things are to be considered before you play roulette at a land based casino. Each table will have different payouts. This is because of the different types of equipment used on that table. Suppose the machine is a bit older model, the payout will be higher.

It is always better to pay online. You get more at the value of less. As the maintenance of the online software is not costly, they pay you up to 100 per cent of the payouts. Some new comers in the field are also offering something around 120 per cent of payout!

Online Gambling
Nobody knows the history of gambling. Though there are books written some centuries ago which mention the games that were played on cash, the exact dates are not known. However, it is believed most of the casino games originated in the UK and then were passed to the US as people from the UK starting colonizing the US.

Well, this means we cannot than a particular person saying, ‘hey, thanks buddy for giving us the game of Bingo.’ And then came the computers carrying with them, the computer games. You the ones on the initial windows based systems: poker, solitaire and many more. As these games became popular, many of the software companies stared designing games in various categories that were available on CD or could be downloaded at a small fee. Even now, your children search and download the games.

So what does this do with the online gambling? Well, if those software giants could make money by creating digital versions of the card games, why cannot we create a digital version of the casino? This question struck to the person who first though of having an online casino. We don’t know his name and possible may never know in the future but what he gave us is the ultimate ease in gaming: online gambling with people around the globe without leaving your armchair!

Home Poker Games

Home Poker GamesSpeaking of home poker games reminds me of good old days when we used to have weekend games over dinner at one of our friends’ place. It was decided in advance who will host the game and then the time of the game. There were some free games and some games with cash involved.

The most difficult part of hosting a home poker game was determining the wining amount and even tough, the amount for blinds. For me blinds are just a provision for not placing a bet and shooting out of the game. Hence blinds should be kept as less as possible. This also helps in people who want to invest lesser amounts to play longer.

Initially, the blinds could be set at 1-2 per cent. And towards the end of game, it can be increased to 5 per cent so that people may leave with dignity. Too many blinds mean favoring people who carry bigger bankrolls who can tap on the number of members decreasing.

Among other things, we also need to consider the chips. Based on the denominations, you can buy chips of different colors. For example, $1 cab be blue, $20 can be green. You can go up to $500. Under very rare cases will anybody use a $1000 bet. All the best!
