According to the American Psychological Association, compulsive gambling can be referred to as a type of mental disorder of impulse control and it is also categorized to as a type of chronic & progressive disease which is both diagnosable & treatable. And also according to a research, about 2- 4% of Americans have already developed a gambling addiction.

There are some of causes of addictive gambling following:

a) Excess exposure to gambling under certain circumstances which are very valuable.
b) A capacity for self deception.
c) State of feeling intolerable such as depression, helplessness and guilt.
